Invite To In-Person Events

Pop quiz:

Do you know what my first paid work was after graduating high school?

I worked as a youth facilitator, traveling around the province of British Columbia doing workshops for high school students, and also for YouthCO AIDS Society, Canada’s only entirely youth-led HIV/AIDS organization.

I have always loved group dynamics. I love the chemistry between a group of people with different experiences coming together to create a unique and transformative experience.

It’s impossible to predict exactly what will happen and there’s a beauty in that.

So much learning.

So much healing.

The training I received from my early days as a youth facilitator lives inside of me.

I then went on to work with groups of people around the world, community members, government officials, policy makers, activists from Ukraine to the Philippines.

When I launched my health coaching business, I was so grateful to be able to work online with clients from around the world from my little office in Southern Mexico (I still am profoundly grateful about this).

AND - after several years, I found myself CRAVING in-person experiences. Once my daughter was old enough, I started traveling again so that I could participate in trainings, retreats, masterminds, and conferences.

AND - I started hosting powerfully transformative events in Mexico.

In the past year and a half, I have hosted three life-changing retreats and am gearing up for the 4th this November.

Lucir: We only have several spots still available so please get in touch asap if this interests you.

If you want to dive deep into self-care, create new habits to take home with you, learn gentle movements and meditations to infuse your life back home, this is for you!

There’s a reason why we currently have FIVE “returnees” already confirmed and are expecting a least one more to come back.

And now, drumroll please….

Announcing my newest and highly anticipated offering and collaboration: The Sensual Alchemy Retreat!!

Tatianna and I truly are a match made in sensual alchemy heaven.

We met almost 5 years ago when we were both in a mastermind preparing to launch our businesses. We’ve since spent time together in NYC and I participated in a retreat that she offered in Woodstock.

This experience is designed to help you reconnect and reignite your feminine essence and step fully into your power.

This is NOT about sex. (I happen to be practicing sexual sobriety at the moment)

This is about connecting with your essence, reigniting power and passion, and redefining sensuality, for yourself.

We’re hosting an FB live next Thursday at 10am PST/1pm EST to talk about everything sensuality related and we’d love for you to join (whether or not you are interested in the coming to the retreat, this is going to be an amazing conversation). I will send the invitation next week.

If you have any questions, please let me know beforehand and I will answer you privately and then Tatianna and I can also discuss your Qs in our conversation (don’t worry, we can keep the Qs confidential).

We have early bird pricing until Labour Day. Check out for more info.

The incredible humans I have connected with during in-person events in the past couple of years (both the events I’ve hosted and events I’ve participated in) have become some of the most important relationships of my life.

It is an incredible thing to feel truly SEEN and unconditionally loved and supported by a group of people as committed to your own healing, growth and transformation as they are to their own.

Many of the retreat participants have also formed their own groups where they check in with each other regularly and maintain the connections they formed while together in Mexico.

I am also infusing ALL of the in-person work I do with the neuro-transformational and embodiment work that I have been studying for the past year.  It’s hard to put into words exactly how powerful this work is but let me just tell you, I have now seen dozens of people go home CHANGED in ways more profound than they ever imagined possible. There’s a reason for this. We are limited by our own imaginations (ie our own minds).

When we get out of our comfort zone, step into an environment 100% designed to facilitating healing, growth and change, with skilled coaches, facilitators and healers, NEW POSSIBILITIES become available - because of this unique chemistry.

I won’t say more at this point other than the fact I believe coming to an in-person experience is one of the most important things you could do for yourself. Full stop.

Message me asap for more info on either of these experiences.

I hope to hug you IRL

JLo Method, Media, Mastermind

I'm feeling pretty fabulous since finding out that a post I wrote a few weeks ago got picked up and share by over 600 media outlets!!

Let me back up little and explain.

The week before leaving Mexico to travel to Canada and then to California was JLo's birthday (July 24th to be exact). She turned 49. There was some press about how fabulous she looks at her age and some references to the fact that she chooses not to drink as part of her health and lifestyle focus.

The "JLo Method" is something that I share with my clients who are able to moderate and have moderate alcohol use as one of their goals. I also happened to receive a testimonial from a client the day after JLo's birthday, and I decided to write about it. It got turned into an article, a press release, and circulated super widely. (if you'd like to see the original article let me know :)

As you might remember from last week's email, I was in a social media/email blackout after my dad's accident and then the training I was participating in, and so I returned back to Canada to a flooded inbox and didn't realize at first the coverage this had received! (A friend of mine actually sent me this screenshot)

Now that I've seen the incredible response, I decided to record a video about the JLo Method to share with you. You can watch it here.

I also wanted to let you know that I've started a YouTube "classroom" and this is actually the second video I've released recently (the first is the basics of Redefining Sobriety, who it is for, why this method, etc).

Make sure to subscribe to the channel if you want to receive the videos as they are released (my goal is approximately once a week). I'm also planning a series called "Redefining Everything," where I will invite guests to talk about everything from intimacy, masculinity, relationships, health, etc. I'm so excited to share this content with you!

I've opened up some more times in my calendar for connection calls - please reach out if you haven't already! I have a couple of spots available for private coaching, an incredible small group/mastermind experience and more to share!

It's Time To Live Full Out (Don't Waste Another Second Because You Never Know)

You're driving along a country road in the morning. Sun shining and enhancing the vibrant greens and brilliant blues around you.

Laughing with the love of your life, your hand on their leg as you drive into day 1 of a month-long road trip that feels in a way like the beginning of the rest of your lives together.

You’ve committed, you’re going all in, you finally know you’re ready to give this adventure of growing old together a shot.

Then, crash.

Everything you thought you knew changes in an instant.

This is exactly what happened to my father a little over a week ago.

In his words, “One moment, we were high on life and in love, the next minute- then... boom.”

A car ran a stop sign, plowing straight into the driver’s side of my dad’s car. His girlfriend, who was behind the wheel, died in the crash.

As I stroked my father’s hair and the drops of our tears bled together into rivers down the hospital blue sheets… I felt simultaneous overwhelming gratitude for his life and grief for his loss.

I was reminded, as we usually are when tragedy strikes the ones we love the most, of how fleeting life can be, that there are no guarantees. To make every moment count.

I’ve read these memes and Hallmark cards, and I know you have too.

Yet, I’m going to ask you a hard question << Test First Name >>, do you really do this?

Do you really make every moment count?

I know I don’t.

I still get stuck in fear.

I allow old stories and pain to continue to define me.

I hold on to resentments.

I let my ego stop me from playing full out.

What was incredible about the timing of this accident is that I left the hospital to travel to Irvine, California to get my certification in neuro-transformational coaching.

I entered a five-day long vortex, where we agreed on Day 1 not to check our phones, to “stay in the room” (as much as we were triggered and wanted to run), to show up and play full out.

The days were long. (a “short” day was 10 hours, our longest was 17 hours long).

We confronted our deepest fears, released old stories, asked the question “what wouldlove do?”

In doing so, we forgave abusers, the parents and siblings who had abandoned us, we forgave ourselves for years of self-publishment and judgment, we healed years of trauma. We shed layers and layers of guilt, regret, shame, and pain. We held space for each other to cry, scream, wail, release.

We opened ourselves up to each other’s unconditional love.

It was powerful and life-changing.

It was the desire of that hallmark card sentiment put into action.

Here’s my invitation to you, << Test First Name >>.

I learned so many tools for transformation in the past week.

I also received a powerful reality check to live each moment fully, because it could be mine or someone else's last.

I am committed to continuing to play full out - are you?

I am inviting you to join me and 2 others (I’m taking 3 people max) for a neuro-transformational mastermind.

I will guide you through the processes for healing, shedding, releasing, and reframing that I learned this past week.

You will emerge a different person, just as myself and 22 others did this past week.

The focus? Finally letting go of that thing that’s keeping you stuck, repeating similar patterns.

I’ll give you an example from my own life. Over the years, I’ve redefined my relationship to alcohol, I’ve stopped abusing drugs and my body, I’ve released my need for perfection and overwork as a distraction, I’ve started to understand co-dependency and how I use other people to keep me from myself and my own pain.

The story that underlines it all? That I am damaged and unloveable.

I “intellectually” knew this, yet my body still held ferociously to the story.

As long as I believed this to be true, I could do the hurting/the leaving/the self-sabotaging before someone else had the chance to. I picked partners who criticized me and didn’t love the whole me. I also realized this week that I have never really shown the whole me to anyone… therefore continually reinforcing the story to myself, that no one could love the whole me (including the damaged parts).

Don’t know what your “thing” is? It’s okay, we’ll help you figure it out.

To be honest, I haven’t thought through the exact format yet, though we will likely be meeting on Zoom every two weeks for the next 3-6 months, and will have a WhatsApp group for intra-session communication.

What I know for sure is that this powerful work is alive in my cells and at the forefront of my consciousness.

What I know for sure is that I personally don’t want to waste any more time stuck in fear and attached to old stories.

What I know for sure is that I don’t want to die before I have fully loved and been loved wholly.

If this interests you, send me a message asap and tell me WHY. Remember, I’m only inviting 3 people into this beta mastermind and I want to start as soon as possible, the momentum I’m feeling is REAL, and it’s a disservice to myself and the people who join to wait too long.

If you want to deep dive but the thought of doing it in a group turns you off, I’ve got a few spots available for private coaching, and I can take you through the same processes. Send me a message and let me know why you’re ready to go all in with me 1-1.

Let's commit to making every moment count, shall we?
